It’s Baaack! with a jam packed show.
‭Pirates in the news this week include a clip from last weeks International Radio Report with a mention of WNKR and a bust in Boston a couple weeks back. From Glen Hausers World of Radio is a mention of a Brazilian pirate.  From franjadx.blogspot.com is a news item that Radio Barretina International has been asked to leave the airwaves. From the San Gabrial Tribune comes a story about Ontario’s California pirates of yore. From the Media Geek website comes a story that Boulder Free Radio has had an apparent resurrection. Finally, from this weeks International Radio Report is a story of a California pirate that had some run ins with the FCC and was only fined $100.
‭Select postings from the Free Radio Network and note stations logged per the Free Radio Weekly. Check out Live Ionosphere modeling for Google Earth described by Science at NASA.  From the email bag comes a interesting website sent in by the_axis, a site where you can control a SDR.

    Good show! Enjoyed the free-bander interview – interesting to hear how other folks are operating on HF. I was surprised to hear about NPR’s stance on low power FM. Might not have heard about it otherwise.
