I cannot accept credit/blame for that nifty audio clip from Wolverine’s New Year show – my reception was too puny. That sounded like WEAK Radio’s off-air clip. Very rare live-on-mic bits and shout outs from the Wolverine crew. I’ve heard a live mic bit from Wolverine only once before, back in the fall or winter of 2008.

Oh, BTW, the fugloop isn’t the magnet wire strung along the ceiling. I don’t use that magnet wire random wire antenna anymore – too noisy, picks up every bit of RFI in my neighborhood. The fugloop is … well, it’s just fugly. It’s a hank of about 25′ or so of old TV coax wrapped around a closet door near the window. Just a passive shielded magnetic loop I intended only for MW DXing, but it turned out to work pretty well for 6700-7000 kHz too, so that’s mostly what I use now for piratical malfeasance.
